I am very happy to be able to present you my entry for this third round of This round consisted in drawing my Oc with a sweet theme. Show my senshi being kind preferably in her "normal" non fuku outfit.

I decided to do a drawing of her and Yuan during her early life on Earth before she knew anything at all about her Senshi identity. You will find more information down in the description about this episode of her life. (Find out who Yuan is ^-^)

Also for this round we had to tell what our Senshi’s goals in life were so here they are and you’re going to see they changed a lot throughout her 300 years of life!

When Jo-Jia was just a kid she would often tell her mother how she was dreaming of one day finding a true love and living a happy life with that true love before going to bed. Her dream career was to become a doctor or an artist of any kind since she loved every art including writing if it can be considered as one.

Near the end of her teenage years she met the love of her life and after a certain time of being together they soon dreamed of having a kid. Jo-Jia’s goal on the professional side had officially turned out to become a renowned author as she still loved writing and spent most of her nights imagining new stories. The rest of her interests would still remain hobbies she would enjoy doing day after day.

Then later, Jo-Jia’s mother died and it brought a lot of questions to her and changed the way she would see life forever. Adding to her recent goal of raising her son the best she could, she now wanted to find out who she really was.

As her life passed, some unexplainable things started happening such as her immortality and it obviously brought other questions about her own existence. It lead her into wanting to know more about life and how it all works and so she decided to start school all over again to study medicine forward to becoming a biologist.

Since Jo-Jia wasn’t aging, she also wanted her immortality to remain a secret and she decided she would stay away from people as much as possible. And so, when she felt people were getting to know her a little bit too much, she would move in another town, another province or state or even change country. Her goal in finding out who she truly is was revealed to her only many years later in her life.

When everything about her identity was finally revealed to her, her goals changed once more. She still wanted to keep the secret of her immortality but also since she knew the reasons of her existence now and why she landed on Earth, her mission had now become to repair the biggest mistake made by the King of Ninima’s Kingdom on Solarion, her father. She decided she would keep the promise the Princess (Of who she’s being the clone of) had made to herself. She had to help the other Senshi protect Earth and its inhabitants and most of all, protect a unique person of our Universe which owned a pure heart; Sailor Moon, only her could save it all.

Here are some extra informations about the drawing: (It will probably explain very well Jo-Jia’s goals in life overall)

As you already know, Jo-Jia is over 300 years of age and she still looks like she’s in her early twenties because after she reached adulthood, she stopped aging. But she didn’t always know all that and this drawing represents an episode of her life before she knew everything about her true identity.

(On the drawing you can see an old memory that keeps coming back to Jo-Jia almost every night while she is asleep. It represents one of Jo-Jia’s happy moment; a moment being shared by a mom and her son. Yuan, when he was still just a kid, is happy being in her arms.)

Before finding out she was different from everyone around her, she grew up as a very normal girl with her mother and sister and made many friends through the years. As she was a teenager, a good friend of hers decided to introduce her to another friend because she thought they would fit well together; his name was Darcy.

Jo-Jia and Darcy weren’t searching for love when they met each other on a night many friends were hanging out together but the chemistry was there and they had a lot in common. Darcy thought Jo-Jia was the most beautiful girl he had ever met and he almost instantly fell in love with her as he would get to know her better every time they met afterwards. Jo-Jia on her side felt good and comfortable in his presence and they officially became a couple after a few weeks. They were really close to each other and had their own world together they contributed into building month after month. They shared something most people won’t ever find in a lifetime and they perfectly understood each other.

Years passed and they moved in together in an apartment. Finally, they could be just themselves and nobody else would be around to annoy or check over what they were doing. They would play video games at any hour of the day, cook in the middle of the night if they wanted to and love each other whenever they felt like it; they were free at last.

After a few years of cohabiting and them reaching adulthood, starting to live in the whole adult life routine, they decided they were ready to add a new member to their little world and they would soon become parents of a little boy they would call Yuan.
Yuan would change Jo-Jia’s life completely as the meaning of love took a very different meaning into her heart. Jo-Jia wanted the best for her son and raised him with Darcy in a similar way her own mother had raised her. Yuan would never miss an ounce of love but authority would be there just so that he knows what it is like to grow and become a person that is able to live by himself later in his life.

Jo-Jia was a proud mommy and her son and herself had a pretty good relationship. He loved his mother very much and was graceful for what she was bringing to him. Darcy on his side felt he was lucky to have a close family like his and admired his girlfriend very much for all that she meant to him.

Yuan was young when his grandmother, Jo-Jia’s mother died of cancer and before she died, she revealed to her daughter a very disturbing truth. Jo-Jia wasn’t her real daughter, she was clone of somebody else she didn’t know the identity of but she had raised her as if she was her own daughter.

Things started getting strange later in her life. Yuan grew up, and the little boy turned into a teenager, then a young man… His turn then came for him to become a father too… And a grandfather later on.

Darcy too grew old fast enough that Jo-Jia and him didn’t look the same age anymore and then soon came the time she would look like she was her daughter… Then he looked more like he was her grandfather…

Jo-Jia didn’t know what was wrong with her but she clearly wasn’t normal. Everyone around her was taking age and she was almost still a teenager. She knew it probably had to do with what her mother had told her before dying but since she didn’t know who she was the clone of, it would be really hard to answer the question.

When Darcy started looking way too old for her, the couple decided to keep their relationship a secret from all the new people they would meet because even though they didn’t care what people would think of it, she didn’t want people looking at him as if he was an old pervert and of course, nobody would ever believe her crazy story. This entire situation was hurting her. It was the first time she felt like they were so far from each other. But what hurt her the most was to see how her son was growing to look older than herself too. To keep the secret of her mother he decided he would never present her his girlfriends as they would probably think he was lying or because this situation would create confusions and Jo-Jia understood that very well. At least, her son would still be visiting her every once in a while all by himself.

Then, Darcy was hit by illness and he was admitted to a hospital. He was old and when people get very old they die. Life is normally like that but Jo-Jia thought it was unfair; why couldn’t she be like everyone else? She was in the room of the hospital when Darcy spoke his last words to her, telling her how she had filled his most happy memories. He died as she was standing there while nurses ran around soon to tell her as they thought she was his granddaughter she should go take some rest at home.

Jo-Jia knew there would come a day where she would have to face the same thing but with her son this time and this was too much for her almost making her fall into a deep depression but one night, she woke up and sat in her bed. She promised herself she’d stand up because she had to be all she could be for her son while he was still alive. She also thought to herself there must have been a reason why she was like that… What was her destiny? Why was she the only immortal person?

It took more than 200 years before she finally started getting answers or at least parts of them through some weird dreams she was having. And during all that time, she refused herself getting too close to other people and decided to stay away from people the more she was able to. She didn’t want friends and she also refused every date she was proposed; she told herself she would never fall in love again because in her case she knew it would hurt too much in the end.

Jo-Jia soon started to feel like her heart wanted to come out of her thoracic cage sometimes and she was able to discover when this was happening. Sometimes, when she was being approached by some people who were wandering around with sensors, she started feeling like her heart was squeezing inside her body. She didn’t know what the use of those sensors was until she made some researches by herself. She then arrived to the point where she was standing face to face with her destiny and finally knew what she was on this planet for; protect it with the help of others people who had something in common with her; they were Senshi too.
